Comment & I will name you 3 interests from your list, and 3 userpics, and you explain them in your own post, asking the same of your f-listers.
fakearomance gave me....
For anyone into Doctor Who, I think this is self explanatory. How can you not love David Tennant's portrayal of the doctor? He's a younger hipper Tom Baker, fun and crazy and always full of insanity. I'll admit, if I had to choose, I'd choose Nine, but Doctor #10 will always hold a special place for me as well.
Nothing fits me. I'm shaped weird, and my clothes tend to fit strange, so clothing reconstruction appeals to me on that level. I also love crazy, wacky punk clothes, so when I discovered the reconstruction thread over at craftster.org I was immediately intrigued. I haven't done a lot, but I love taking old boring t-shirts and turning them into something special and fun to wear. Think ghetto project runway. :)
River and Jayne. Ahh, how can you not love the idea? I was hooked on the idea of them as a couple as soon as she threatened to 'kill him with her brain'. I know some feel differently, but I feel like they're such an obvious shipper choice, and really believe Joss would have gone there had Firefly stayed on the air a couple of seasons. I just feel they balance each other.
I think this is my favorite Pretender Icon. I think Jarod was printing a fake ID for something, while of course eating Pez. This shot is from the Pilot episode, and I just love the angle. It reminds me of the way I work on my laptop, sprawled out on my bed with a million papers and other things surrounding me.
This has to be one of the best Veronica Mars moments ever. It just begged to be an animated icon, and the only thing I could think to say was the obvious. Ew! *giggle* This was when I discovered layer curves, so the colors are all bright and pretty too.
I made a whole series of icons dedicated to Rose's handwarmers. As an obsessive knitter, I was watching 'Doomsday' and instead of thinking how sad it was, I was trying to figure out how to make her handwarmers. Shortly after the episode aired in the US, I found a pattern online and knitted a pair for leighleighla. One of these days I'll finish my pair. Maybe for next winter. :) But basically I just love looking at Rose's handwarmers.
